La’Porsha Renae Apologizes For “Homophobic” Remark

La’Porsha Renae was in hot water for saying she didn’t “agree” with the “LGBT lifestyle” when asked for her two cents on Mississippi’s anti-LGBT bill. The American Idol runner-up is a Mississippi girl.

Here’s what she said:

“This is how I feel about the LGBT community: They are people just like us. They’re not animals as [Manny Pacquiao] stated before. They’re people with feelings. Although all of us may not agree with that particular lifestyle for religious reasons, whatever the reason is, you still treat each other with respect. Everybody is a human being. We should be able to coexist with one another.

I am one of the people who don’t really agree with that lifestyle. I wasn’t brought up that way. It wasn’t how I was raised. But I do have a lot of friends and a lot of people that I love…

  1. I understand a little bit how people could be hurt when she says she wasn’t raised that way but for some to say they don’t agree with something and you take offense that’s ridiculous. That only means you don’t agree with it yourself but you gotta raise hell to cover that up. But c’mon people can’t even have a freakin’ opinion anymore. She don’t agree with it, she don’t agree with it, suck it up.
